After defending the bronze medal in the Swedish Championshis three years in a row, DCR finally fought for the gold against Malmö’s Crime City Rollers – and took home the silver medal.
Dock City’s A-team has recently been training very targeted and despite loosing a couple of players, they have managed to play together for a strong and cohesive team.
– The whole season has been a constant upward curve. This is the result of hard work, love and common goals, says Sandy Crush, blocker in Dock City.
The final game was incredibly close at the beginning of the first half before Crime City took the lead and finally rounded off with 340-139.
– Crime was as usual a pain in the ass, but we love them anyway and wish congratulations to the gold, says Slice Princess, head coach of Dock City.
