DCR A-team took home the victory in last weekend’s SKOD tournament in Ghent, Belgium. They won against Lille Rollergirls, Antwerp One Love Roller Dolls, and in the final against Dirty River Roller Grrrls. Last fall, Dirty River won against Dock City with 64 points and this weekend DCR took revenge and beat the Finnish team with 281-91.
DCR has, with the SKOD tournament, improved their rankings in Europe from 20th place to 15th from a total of 412 teams.
I’m so incredibly happy and proud of our team. We have trained incredibly hard the last few months and this weekend we really got a chance to put it to the test. And the fact that we managed to reach all the way to the first place is fantastic. We really fought hard for this and right now it feels like nothing can stop us.
