The Freshmeat program of spring 2014 is about to come to an end. All participants have worked hard and been really brave both on the track and in rules practice during the last 14 weeks.
Every Freshmeat program ends with a minimum skills test, a way to make sure that all skaters have mastered the basic skills required by the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association to be allowed to participate in scrimmages and bouts. The examination consists of a practical on-skate part as well as a written test.
The coaches for the Freshmeat program (A. Crusher, Combat Cupcake, Evil de Nets and Patty from the Block) and the rest of Dock City Rollers are very proud of all freshmeat skaters and would like to wish them the best of luck on the upcoming minimum skills test which will take place on 28th May.
