This weekend the Swedish Championship is coming to Gothenburg. 6 teams will be going head to head, or hip to hip, looking to claim this year’s medals. Dock City Rollers will be one of these teams.
Using a new approach, Sweden is skipping the yearly series and focusing on the European Flat track stats as a qualifier for the Championship. This year we will see Crime City Rollers, Dock City Rollers, Gothenburg Roller Derby, Luleå Roller Derby, Norrköping Roller Derby and Uppsala Jackdaws.
Looking back at the Swedish Championships, Dock City Rollers have 2 silvers from 2016-17 and 3 bronzes from 2013-/14-/15. This time around we’ll keep aiming high and look forward to meeting some of the top ranked teams from Sweden.
