About a year ago the board of Dock City Rollers began working on an application for the WFTDA apprentice program. We put a lot of time and effort into the application, but something very important was still missing: to meet the requirements we had to arrange a home bout.
On December 14th 2013 we were finally able to arrange our very first and much awaited home bout, after which we just had to put all the paperwork together. All in all we’ve had a year with a lot of work, a paper burning ceremony and a lot of knowledge about American bureaucracy. We are very proud and absolutely delighted to announce that the WFTDA now has accepted Dock City Rollers as an apprentice league. Special thanks to CCR’s Venom who’s been of great help during the process of writing the application.
